Art in the Barn started in 1975. The first show had 30 artists & craftsmen and now has grown to 185. The attendance has grown to 7500 people in 2007 from Barrington, surrounding communities some including, Deer Park, Lake Zurich, Long Grove and surrounding states. It all started with ten women, craftsmen and artists that wanted to raise money for Good Sheperd Hospital and bring a high quality art event to our area. They have raised more than $2 million to date.
The shows offerings will include, sculptures, watercolors, photography, jewelry & mixed media.

39+ miles in 2 days. It was alot longer than I thought it would be and my body is still aching. It was so worth it. It was amazing experiencing all the support, team work and commeraderie. Just looking around, reading posters, shirts and signs there is no way I could stop walking. Many comparing blisters and joint pain to chemo and cancer.
