The current inventory of homes for sale in Palatine Illinois Zip Code 60067 is down vs last month for detached homes and the same for detached homes. Sales this month over last month is up for single family homes and the same for attached single family homes. Our average LP of sold homes is down for single family homes and down for attached single family homes. Average Sale Price of homes sold is down for single family homes and down for attached single family homes, and our LP/SP ratio is down for single family homes and up for attached homes. homes for sale palatine: Northern Illinois Real Estate - NAR Reports Increase in Home Sales Over Last Year for Midwest! - 09/10/11 06:38 PM

According to NAR home sales this month are higher than a year ago but lower than last month. Home sales for the Midwest fell 8% over last month but are at 18.8% over sales last year.
The Home sales are contracts for home purchases and do not reflect actual closings that will happen. Some of the contracts will not close due to many things. More deals are falling apart these days due to lending restrictions, job losses, confidence levels for home buyers and competition for housing.
