brunswick and the golden isles of georgia area: Brunswick and the Golden Isles of Georgia.....commute with a view....... - 10/27/08 06:10 PM
Twenty years ago I lived where traffic was a major consideration in when I made my appointments both professional and personal.  Now, I am either too old or have been back in south Georgia too long to spend any precious time sitting in traffic.  While driving home today, I  took some photos (some out of the sunroof of my Hummer while driving) and wanted to share my commute - words cannot describe......

Each day when leaving my home, I can choose the route I take to my office or to one of the many subdivisions which I am either selling … (11 comments)

Logan has a day out on Saint Simons Island over the Labor Day Weekend.  Logan started by checking out a couple of the historical sites including the Saint Simons Island Lighthouse.

Next Logan decides to take a look at the water with the Saint Simons Island Pier in the background.

There is a playground at the Saint Simons Islad Pier, so a quick trip down the slide looks like fun to Logan.

You never know what you'll find on Saint Simons Island to do and see......Logan seems perplexed by this...

And of course, Logan can't go to Saint Simons … (6 comments)

Cumberland Island, a barrier island off the coast of Georgia is larger than Manhattan Island, but never has more then 300 visitors per day.  Cumberland is the southernmost barrier island on the Georgia coast. The island is  over 36,000 acres, 17.5 miles  long and approximately 1 ½ to 3 ½ miles wide. There is no causeway or bridge to the island so most of the visitors to the island take the Cumberland Ferry from Saint Mary's, Georgia.
