Death of a Hawaiian, Aloha Dwight K. Burgess
My former boyfriend( from 1977 to mid 1982), Dwight Kunani Burgess pasted away on May 21, 2009 in Winnetka, California.  Born & raised on Kauai as a young man he loved to bodysurf, boogie board and have fun. Later in life he moved to Winnetka , California where he spent the later part of his life doing volunteer work. These are photos of Dwight in younger years at Hanalei & Brennecke's Beach in Poipu.
A Celebration Of Life Service was held for Dwight on September 27, 2009 at Poipu Beach Park. Dwight's brother, James Burgess, seen in the photo below releases the calabash … (3 comments)
