festival: Vernal Holiday Days - 12/13/11 12:49 AM

In case you missed the Holly Days this year, Make sure to attend next year. It will be the 9th annual festival. Great family fun and free activities. Activities have included camel rides, pony rides, movie, face painting, swimming, rock climbing and food. A great time can be had by everyone and it is free. Vernal is a wonderful family oreinted place to visit and to live. Stop by and check out Vernal if you haven't a chance to visit!

festival: I love Spring! - 03/17/08 10:29 PM

This time of year fills me with hope. Melting snow, warm weather, and the sight of bulbs starting to grow. I would love to go to Holland and see the tulip fields blooming. I see there is a tulip festival in Washington. This year it is March 27th. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. There will be a special celebration this year including a raffle, dessert auction, dinner, and music. Has anyone been to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival?
