vernal: Affects of meth - Are we at risk? - 05/10/08 09:22 AM
We had a luncheon Wednesday and a speaker talked about meth. She told us about the affects on people and on homes. I didn't realize that one party with about 20 people in a house could be enough to contaminate the house. A meth inspector told us that a moderately contaminated 3 bedroom house could cost $33,000 to repair. Some houses and their contents are not able to be saved after they have been exposed and the owners end up with nothing. The peole that contaminated the home may be require to pay the buyer back, but in most cases that

vernal: Prehistoric Times? Dinosaurland Vernal Utah - 04/19/08 01:59 AM
Meet some of the dinosaurs of Vernal Utah! They are a familiar sight in Vernal. Dinosaur fossils were found near Vernal in 1909. 350 tons of bones were removed at the time, and continue today. Some complete skeletons were found. The area became a National Monument in 1915, where people could view the process of the removal of dinosaur bones. Unfortunately, the monument has been closed for repairs to the building. Replicas of dinosaurs can be viewed at the Utah Field House of Natural History Museum. There is great opportunity for employment in vernal due to energy exploration. Great place to

If you are looking fun the Vernal area offers, skiing, water skiing, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, four wheeling fossil, and gem hunting. I enjoy being a Realtor in Vernal, Utah, and I am proud to display some the beautiful scenery of this season. vernal: Rock hunting in Vernal Utah - 03/13/08 11:15 AM
I have been selling real estate in vernal for about 7 months. This weekend I went rock hunting for petrified wood outside Vernal. I was thrilled to find several nice piece. This area used to be tropical about 50 million years ago so it is possible to find petrified coral, palm tree wood, and even sea turtle shells. The area of Vernal is known for the amazing fossilized dinosaurs bones found there as early as 1909. My next venture might be hunting for garnets or plant fossils in the area!
