state college: A Fishermans Paradise .. A Paradise for all. - 10/13/10 03:02 PM
We  leisurely walked along a 3 mile trail along the banks of Spring Creek called " Fisherman's Paradise "  in Centre County,  State College, Pa.   What a delightful find on a glorious fall day. Only the ripple sounds of the creek break the silence of the oldest and famous fly fishing catch and release hot spot for all trout enthusiaste. If your a fly fisherman... state college: Thankful Thursdays memorable history of a past time Spring Creek Park - 07/11/09 12:51 PM

This is one of many photos that I have taken of " Spring Creek Park " in State College, Pennsylvania.
It has become a frequent visit of mine.
The covered bridge sure to conjure up images of simpler more innocent times....could it be..... a wishful thought  that today would be able to grasp on to those simpler,  non complicated times.

state college: Thankful Thursday ... Take the time to do it now.... - 07/11/09 10:57 AM
Hasn't it come beyond multi tasking ?  We have become absorbed  in busyness. Everyday  demands   steal time from future memories, that  never materialize
Don't we need to take time to refresh, gather strength and appreciate our blessings and beauty that surrounds us ?

People walk into  our lives and out of our lives ...
sometimes unnoticed. or they stay a  short while ... and just  maybe . they become an important part of our life.
My daughter sent me this photo.  It is a photo of beautiful Whipple Dam State Park, a short distance from their home in State  College.
