It's Official! The Hyatt will be taking over the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino project being built on the Las Vegas Strip. The takeover candidate was quite obvious, Hyatt was selected as the hotel operator during the pre-construction sales process. And they were one of the secnd mortgage holders as well. Looks like Bruce Eichner will not be calling the shots anymore, but the pre-construction investors in the condo-hotels at the COSMO can rest assured this project will be one of the most exciting on the strip! As the news of the foreclosure notice given to the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas filtered to all its buyers, surprisingly enough most took the news very much in stride.
