Ever since Deutsche Bank has foreclosed upon Bruce Eichner's Cosmopolitan Resort Las Vegas Condo Project - the channels of communication have been virtually non existent between the new regime and the condo buyers, real estate agents, and the press. For such an iconic project, with a tremendous presence in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, news has been totally non existent. Late Friday I received my copy of the letter that all buyers will reeive from the new owner of the COSMO. This LVRJ Article pretty much sums up the content - CLICK HERE I found it courteous that they gave the real estate agents the heads up as to the content of the letter, whcih is pretty much status quo - giving a completion date of 2nd quarter 2010. From the WSJ: "A team that includes New York developer Related Companies is making a bid to take over the unfinished and financially ailing Cosmopolitan Resort Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, according to people familiar with the matter. Related, led by real-estate tycoon Stephen Ross, has teamed with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc.'s W Hotel group and an unidentified casino operator to try to take over the $3.9 billion hotel-condominium and casino project.
