Just passing along some information I think is going to become is a huge issue here in the mountains of Western, NC!  If this passes it certainly is going to scare future buyers and sellers will lose value if their home that already exists in a slope area considered dangerous or a could be.  Future sellers of land are in danger of this also. MAY 22:  HABITAT for HUMANITY SPAGHETTI DINNER and GOSPEL CONCERT at Bethel United Methodist Church.  The dinner donation of $5.00 and $5.00 donation for the concert. Attend one or the other or both ($10.00).  All donations will go to the "FAITH-BUILD" Home of Macon County Habitat for Humanity. I am happy to report in Franklin, NC we are moving up on the stats from last year in April.  I myself could feel it getting a tad bit better.  Could it be because of the first time home buyer was about to expire?  I think some of it did play a role but I knew this was NOT going to fix this market.  In my humble opinion, we NEED JOBS everywhere, not just in Washington DC!
