 Why would a underwriter ask for a well & septic inspection report?  Oh, its not a local bank that uses local rules requirements possibly.
Here in the mountains of Franklin, NC most of the components and working parts of a septic system are underground and are not naturally visible. Inspecting a typical septic system then presents a challenge.

Sales for residential in Franklin, NC are down along with the agerage sale price.  Percentage of list price obivously means prices are still dropping.   The only good thing I can see is the agerage days on the maket has dropped.

How can one keep up with all the new rules and regulations if it changes like underwear?

And I was told Home Inspections were deal killers
Important changes for the buyers that we may not be aware of but should.  The real estate industry and especially the mortgage industry have been overwhelmed with changes. The intent of this initiative is to assure that all applicant information is disclosed and is honest and accurate as of the moment of closing.
