Septic Inspections, Well Inspections, Home Inspections, waste of money with some Inspections! Why would a underwriter ask for a well & septic inspection report? Oh, its not a local bank that uses local rules requirements possibly. Here in the mountains of Franklin, NC most of the components and working parts of a septic system are underground and are not naturally visible. Inspecting a typical septic system then presents a challenge. I have lived here in Franklin, NC for 18 years and have only heard of a few problem with septic systems. Sales for residential in Franklin, NC are down along with the agerage sale price. Percentage of list price obivously means prices are still dropping. The only good thing I can see is the agerage days on the maket has dropped. 3683 WEST OLD MURPHY ROAD FRANKLIN, NC 28734 JUST SOLD. This is a cute little cabin in the woods and the mountains that surround it make it even better. This is in a community called Cartoogechaye, a sought after area know for peace and quite in the mountains of Franklin, NC. It is in close proximity of the well know Nantahala Forest. Every year we get through hikers that come through here on the Appalachian Trail. The Appalachian Trail is a continuous marked footpath that goes from Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in Georgia, a distance of about 2160 miles. (4 comments)
