Southwestern Community College again ranks in the TOP 10 in the U.S. of the America's 50 best community colleges according to Wahington Monthly. It is pretty amazing that our college ranks in the Top 10 considering there are over 1,000 community colleges in the country. Back in 2007 we ranked 4th in the Nation and we came in nith in 2010. SCC is one of only 2 colleges that ranked in the Top 10 in both 2007 and 2010. Ratings are based greatly on the Community College Survey of Student engagement, a published nationwide survey.
