north carolina: Havelock Still Grows - 04/04/09 11:32 AM
Regardless of the real estate news in other parts of the state and the country, Havelock, New Bern, and surrounding areas are still growing.  Admittedly slower, but still making progress. National news has exerted some downward pressure on home prices but our immediate area is relatively stable.  A note to buyers and sellers, remember, all real estate markets are local.   More news at www.jean-mitchell.com.

north carolina: New Pier Ready to Fish - 04/14/07 11:38 AM
A new pier is in use on the Beaufort side of the Morehead/Beaufort bridge.  It's on the opposite side of the bridge from where the old Causeway Pier used to be.  Fishermen (or should that be fisherpersons?) are already taking advantage of the great weather of the past week and using the pier to full advantage.   If you're moving to the Havelock/New Bern area soon and need to know about outdoor recreation, fishing, golfing, boating, kayaking, hiking, we've got it all, call or email me.  jeantmitchell@aol.com or 252.665.0413.  … (0 comments)
