Every year, RCLCO - an independent real estate advisory firm - tracks sales and key success metrics of over 400 master-planned communities across the nation. According to the survey results, the "Sunbelt region" remained home to a majority of the top performing communities with the Houston area representing the largest concentration. The results also showed that home sales began to stabilize in 2010, and 85 percent of respondents believe that 2011 is going to deliver moderate increases in home sales and home prices. This past Friday, the Bridges Golf Club played host to the Patriot Cup Golf Tournament benefitting Operation FINALLY HOME. Twenty five teams of participants and sponsors spent the day golfing on the charming, 18-hole Fred Couples Signature Golf Course. Guests enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day in Gunter with lunch on the veranda at Moms on the Green. Followed by a fun and lively raffle featuring items such as Titelist and Nike irons, a TV and rounds of golf at the Bridges Golf Club, it was a great day had by all to benefit a great cause!

Bryan/College Station To Be “Third Coast” of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing - 03/08/11 09:16 PM
Agriculture, Texas A&M University, Aggies - Bryan/College Station is the well known home of all of these and now the city is adding another - PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING!  G-Con, LLC and the Texas A&M System have collaborated on Project GreenVax which will focus on producing vaccines. The project has already received $40 million from the Defence Advances Research Projects Agency, the research and development office of the United States Department of Defense.

A recent San Antonio Express-News article showed results of the 2010 census, which demonstrated that more than 165,000 people have moved outside Loop 1604 -- specifically North and West. It was so substantial, that the sprawl accounted for almost half of the county's growth.
