1103 Quail Dr Blacksburg VA New Construction For Sale

Here is a view from above. Check out those high ceilings! That's what the two front bedroom ceilings are offering. A great feeling of space to go along with beautiful views. The siding is nearly completed. It you drive by you will see a color swatch or two here and there as the builder puts his head together with a couple of advisers about paint color schemes. How to best accent the house and take into account the natural colors from the pine trees and the mountains is a topic for serious consideration.

Quail Dr Blacksburg VA update

I would like to introduce you to 1103 Quail Dr. Blacksburg VA. This is our first public appearance and seeing as we are very new we would like to take it slowly.

This beautiful craftsman style home will be coming together over the next couple of months and we are going to share the progress. This home is being construced by Charter House Contracting LLC. It origionally was 2300 sq ft but they were having so much fun with this design that they opened all the eaves for storage and gave it an additional hall and staircase that leads to an additional 300 finished sq ft on the 3rd floor! All the windows capture great views of the mountians. It's incredible to find all of this in an established neighborhood. Oh, and the neighborhood, it's a 15 minute walk to campus. 10 to the grocery store, bank or post office!

Here check out the view from some of it's windows

Lastly here is an interior peak a one of the rooms with a view!

Heritage Park Tree Planting

We were going to be planting trees Sat. at Heritage Park in Blacksburg VA. It's a really cool project called Trees For Life. Members of the community are invited to meet at Heritage Park to learn about tree planting and care. Once the seedlings are planted each participant commits to care for the seedlings for 2 years to insure the survival of sapling to tree. We are working toward restoring the ecology of the Tom's Creek Corridor. We are excited to be joining in the 7th year of this event. The first year 8 families came out and planted 23 saplings. It has grown each year. 600 planted in 2005. This year looks to be promising as well. As I said earlier we were going to be planting on Sat. however, there have been some delay giving us the opportunity to gather more people to help by moving the date to Arbor Day April 18th. If your not busy contact me and come out to plant a tree.

Upturn in the market?

It's still raining here in the New River Valley VA and we are so thankful for it. The rain has not deterred the buyers from coming out. It's almost as though the flood gates have been breeched. I've had more hits on my web site as well as calls into the office than I've seen in months. It appears that consumers are hearing the continued low interest rates and feeling a sense of security in moving forward. Time will tell. I remain hopeful.

Enviromental friendly advertising

We just started recycling in our office about a year ago. It has taken some longer than others to get the hang of it. We have one very dedicated staff member who goes the extra mile to drop off our bounty at the local recycling center. It's rather simple and such a great thing for us to do. I am proud of our office and our staff for taking that extra step.

There are so many ways that we can conserve our resources and set a good example for our community. I came across one that I wanted to share. The link is below. Let's try kicking that bottled water habit. It's expensive and wasteful. We could give refillable water bottles with our names and logos on them, fill them from our sinks and even install a filtration system...if you don't like the taste of your tap water...for less than what we spend on somebody else's brand bottled water. What a good way to advertise!

<a href ="http://water.newdream.org/campaigns/water/register/3fcf59b3bd027274ef0f845d0cf2cd1b/" target="_blank"><img src="http://water.newdream.org/style/images/water_badge.gif" alt="Break the Bottler Water Habit!" /></a>

"Everyone deserves a place to live."

When I uttered this to our receptionist a few weeks ago I had no idea that it would become my mantra.

After hearing about a visit that a client of mine had made to our office I just chuckled and said, "Everyone deserves a place to live." Our receptionist did a mental double take just as I did. Wow, I thought that's it. That's IT. That's why we are here and doing what we do. How many people have said, "I'd never have your job...I would never do what you do...I don't know how you do what you do"..ect? It's what we do because at some level we must believe that "Everyone deserves a place to live." Every time I get a call about a house, somewhere, that's the thought that hooks me to work toward someone else's goal.
