new homes in ohio: Understanding Trusses - 01/09/09 05:51 PM
If you want to learn and understand truss construction may I suggest that you join the Structural Building Components Association.

If you are doing new home construction inspections and do not know this information you ARE not doing a good inspection.
You will find no better information on trusses and their construction, handling and installation.
Belonging is very inexpensive and will pay you back many times over.

new homes in ohio: Rural Homes in Ohio - 10/03/08 06:49 PM
Many of you Realtors® sell homes in areas that have no building departments. What you and your buyers may not know is that there IS a statewide code. This code is known as The Residential Code of Ohio. This code went in to effect on 27 May 2006. It applies to ALL new 1,2,3 family builds in Ohio
RBI is one of the few companies that are certified on The Residential Code of Ohio.
 FAQ's can be reviewed here: http://www.com.state.oh.us/dic/Documents/THENEWRESIDENTIALCODE-GenInfoFAQ.pdf .
