GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS EVERYONE!!!   Good news is that the heat wave is over.  Our area is even getting rain the past couple of days and it has not been over 100 degrees in the past week.  THANK GOODNESS!!
The not-so good news is that during those record breaking temperatures there were also record breaking use of utilities and water.  So we have to prepare ourselves... YIKES the utility bills are on the way!!!  The largest use came August 7th-9th and August 14th-16th.

Residents in the Harvest-Monrovia area now have restrictions on their water usage.  Unfortunately, there was not enough of a voluntary cut-back on water usage.  If you have an odd numbered address you can use sprinklers on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and if you have an even numbered address you can use sprinklers on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Times for sprinkler usage is from midnight to 4 a.m. There is absolutely no outdoor water usage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
