Interest rates for mortgages fluctuating a great deal-Real Estate - 02/20/08 07:35 AM

I don't recall a time when I saw so much fluctuation in the mortgage rates. They hit around 5% in January and bonced back and forth. Feb 19th,2008 rates on a 30 year fixed rate were 6%.

Showings on homes for sale in the Shoreview, Arden Hills, Lino Lakes, Vadnais Heights, Centerville and Hugo have really picked up. North Oaks showings trailing a bit (a more specific buyer). It appears that these are times where those that do not buy now will look back and wish they had.

There has been activity in the real estate market. Inventory is still abaove normal, the well priced-well staged-well marketed homes in Shoreview, Arden Hills, Lino Lakes, Centerville, North Oaks and Vadnais Heights are selling.
