Spring Steeplechase. 3/20/2010 - 03/23/10 09:43 AM
It was the 44th Renewal of the Aiken Spring Steeplechase - and a good time was had by all! It is one of the biggest social events of the season here in Aiken, plus a darn good horse race!! (the next social event up is the Lobster Races!!)

Another beautiful sunny Spring day here in Aiken, SC.       The Park Place Cottages are coming along nicely --- although it has been awhile since I've been inside---- I am due for another tour! 
Here is a pic I just took earlier in the week :)   Isn't it a beautiful building!  I absolutely LOVE everything about it!  The bricks - the details - the windows - the balconies - the doors - AND ESPECIALLY THE LOCATION!!   You couldn't ask for a better spot right downtown :)    Stevens Builders (Buddy Stevens) are DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH THIS PROJECT!!   It is a perfect fit … (8 comments)
