aiken county farmers market: Wanna go to the Tomato Festival? Mark your calendars for 7/11 :) - 06/05/09 09:06 AM

They say this is an annual event - but how can it be that I have never heard about it before???!!!    We do have some great festivals here in downtown Aiken :)

What:   Meet a Master Gardner
Where: Aiken County Farmers Market - Corner of Richland & Williamsburg Aves - Downtown Aiken
When: Saturday, March 14th
Time: 8:00am - Noon

The Master Gardener team will be available to answer your gardening questions.
Also available for sale will be a couple of great books:
- Aiken County South Carolina Garden Almanac (revised, third edition)
- A Collection of Favorite Recipes, Aiken Master Gardners in the Kitchen

While you are there - pick up some nice fresh produce (among other things!!)

Come on down to the Farmers Market to get your fresh fruit - veggies - herbs - flowers ----and more!
Open Monday - Saturday.   7:30am till sold out (or 4:30pm)

Free answers to your gardening questions - the first Saturday of the month (till November)

The Master Gardeners of The Clemson Ext. will be at the Aiken County Farmers Market. (the first Saturday of the month till NOVEMBER)

The Farmers Market is open 7:30am till sold out (or 4:30pm) Mon - Sat.

                          On the corner of Williamsburg and Richland.


Tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month!! Of course there are plenty of fruits and veggies in season now, too.   Stop on over :)
