Geo W. Childs State Park is located off Silver Lake Road and Park Road in Dingmans Ferry.  It is free to the public, and is a marvel to behold!  This delightful Pocono property was donated in the early 1900's by the widow of George W. Childs, with the condition that there always be public access. The park is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
This is, by far, one of my favorite spots in Pike County.  The walking path is fairly easy with some moderate challenges. There are some steps near the end, not as many as … (0 comments)

Wild Acres, located in Dingmans Ferry, is one of the larger homeowner developments / associations in Pike County and has a variety of homes for sale. For families, there are several appealing amenities: outdoor swimming pools, several lakes for fishing and (non-motor) boating, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc.
Wild Acres has miles of beautiful paved roads, and is accessed only though the security gate. Security patrols are on duty to ensure that speed limits are obeyed and to ensure the general safety and well being of the residents.
