Every year the little hamlet of Lackawaxen PA is home to the River Jam Music Fest, at the Lackawaxen Volunteer Fire Department Fairgrounds; easy to find, right on Route 590. River Jam Music Fest is a non-profit event, organized to benefit the Soldiers Angels program. Soldiers Angels helps our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, the River Jam benefit also helps fund higher education with a memorial scholarship fund in the Wallenpaupack School District. The 2010 River Jam Fest starts at 12 noon. I would like to take this moment to thank all of our veterans who have sacrificed to the ultimate, for freedom and liberty. God bless you, your fallen, and your families. Yesterday while I was out showing property I saw many many people enjoying Lake Wallenpaupack and the beautiful surroundings here in Pike and Wayne County. Swimming, laughing, grilling good food and enjoying cold drinks. We had our own little get together last evening with a some good friends. My brother served in the military for 8 years - I am thankful that he was not in harms way, but … (4 comments)

DO YOU CRY... When you see Veterans, both young and strong and old and feeble, marching behind the colors? When you see them stand at attention, saluting our flag?
