The air coming off Lake Wallenpaupack the other day felt as if it were coming directly from Antarctica! Even with no breeze to speak of, it was mighty cold! On New Year's Eve morning, I had to go to Blooming Grove, as a buyer was interested in a cabin I have listed for sale. The previous evening, about seven to eight inches of snow had fallen over this section of The Poconos, coating everything in sight and softening all the harshness of winter. Even though I am no fan of winter and cold weather (then why do I live here??!), there is something about new snow that makes winter more tolerable.
