decatur: I know it is the 4th of July, but I feel like it could be Thanksgiving! - 07/04/11 01:35 PM
I know it is the 4th of July, but I feel like it could be Thanksgiving? It looks like the 4th of July. I certainly feel the patriotism. I see the flags flying gloriously. And there goes the parade up the street past my home as I sit here and blog! Tonight there will be fireworks all around town. . . . . but, I can't help the Thanksgiving heart felt emotions, tugging at my throat. Let me tell you why! Home Staging in Atlanta is booming for Peachtree Home Staging! And I couldn't be more grateful. Grateful for my Independence . . .

decatur: Creating an Appetizing Presentation - 06/07/10 07:57 AM
Creating an Appetizing Presentation . . . A long time ago I did a post relating staging to a master "STAGING" chef. "Professionally staging a vacant home for sale, to me, is like a Chef that has exceptional skills and demonstrates the ability to select the correct utensils necessary along with the freshest ingredients and hand picked spices to create an exquisite meal that appeals to the majority of palettes." "Professionally re-designing an occupied home for sale, is like a Chef that has exceptional skills and demonstrates the ability to work with inferior, but adequate utensils, average canned goods and the

decatur: The Wider the Road is to Cross; the More Road Kill You Will Find - 05/17/10 11:11 AM
Recently I blogged a post regarding road kill -- "1970's Traditional Formal Living Room Doesn't Have To Be Road Kill". Sometimes these homes from the 70's can be overwhelming -- the ROAD KILL to the real estate sale. If there is updating for the buyer to contimplate . . . then the road just looks that much wider to the buyer; with that many more lanes to safely get across. So, just like the chicken that crossed the road to show the possum it could be done . . . Peachtree Home Staging implements their staging talent to show off how really great this 1970's

decatur: 1970's Traditional Formal Living Room Doesn't Need To Be Road Kill - 05/15/10 11:25 AM
Years ago, when I was giving my son a ride to elementary school, he asked me, "Mom why did the chicken cross the road?" I said, "I don't know, Aaron. Why did the chicken cross the road?" Aaron said, "To show the possum it could be done!" Let me show you just how insightful my son was coming up with this clever yarn. When I go visit a vacant home to prepare my proposal I am ALWAYS confident staging will make a huge difference. That is the case for this home that Peachtree Home Staging just staged in Decatur, GA, an In-Town Atlanta

decatur: Home Staging for that Trendy Every City & the Hotlanta Average Joe! - 07/28/08 05:01 PM
Atlanta has so many quaint neighborhoods that feature small older homes offering nostalgic appeal. Of course, the main draw for many of these neighborhoods, however, is location, location, location! Whether or not a home should be home staged really isn't about the price point of the home, nor is it about the size of the home, or even the demographics of the home. It should be staged. That being said, HOW a home should be Professionally home staged is all about the price point of the home, about the size of the home, and the demographics of the home. Many of the
