A special event in my home staging life; and nobody took my photo! Cort was there! Shell was there! An expert panel of REALTORS were there! And the best of the best were there! (and nobody took my picture :-( Okay . . . I am over it!!!! I have to say THANK YOU to the Georgia Home Stagers because they were the "meat and potatoes" of the event CORT was the icing on the "cupcakes", for sure!! RESA's goals are to facilitate positive interactions within the home staging industry, provide support to professional stagers in addition to promoting the benefits of home staging to the consumer. With home staging becoming more and more popular across the country there is an overwhelming consensus within the Home Staging Industry to unite to share and develop ideas the will benefit home sellers, Realtors and home stagers. Starting last November, through the month of February 2008, 27 round table discussion groups were organized across the country at the local level and at regular intervals. We, (we being home stagers through out the US and in Canada) are really uniting, making major head ways as a professional industry. Thanks to Stage It Forward, Round Table Discussions, Craig Schiller's leadership energy, the recent birth of the Stage It Forward Blogazine and the support of RESA, we are gradually taking away that sometimes thought of "mom and pop connotation" associated with the home stager. Case in point -- how many of us have read that profile/testimonial "I started my home staging business because I've been staging my parents, family and friends homes for years."
