stager: We Blog Here, Because We Believe! - 01/15/12 05:45 PM
We blog here because we believe . . . we believe in what we do . . . and we believe what we do makes a difference in the world of Real Estate. Why do we believe what we do . . . HOME STAGING . . . makes a difference in the world of Real Estate? Well, there is a time and place for belief based on faith; but the home staging industry isn't going to grow based on faith. Unfortunately Realtors and home sellers require proof; not faith. Proof comes from statistics. And those statistics need to come from

stager: Us Stagers -- Do we have a move fetish? - 01/05/12 12:19 PM
Us stagers -- well, we must be nuts! All of us! Do you think we have a "moving" fetish??? Statistics show that the average person moves every 5 to 7 years. I mean, seriously, who in their right mind would want to go through the process of moving to a different home a couple times a decade let alone make a move a couple times a week??? Okay, so we don't actually move, but we perform the act of moving. The stagings that really bring this thought to mind though is when Peachtree Home Staging in Atlanta gets to pick

stager: I know it is the 4th of July, but I feel like it could be Thanksgiving! - 07/04/11 01:35 PM
I know it is the 4th of July, but I feel like it could be Thanksgiving? It looks like the 4th of July. I certainly feel the patriotism. I see the flags flying gloriously. And there goes the parade up the street past my home as I sit here and blog! Tonight there will be fireworks all around town. . . . . but, I can't help the Thanksgiving heart felt emotions, tugging at my throat. Let me tell you why! Home Staging in Atlanta is booming for Peachtree Home Staging! And I couldn't be more grateful. Grateful for my Independence . . .

stager: No Pain, No Gain . . . Is it a pain in the _ _ _, really? - 07/17/10 04:26 PM
No Pain, No Gain . . . Is it a pain in the _ _ _, really? About 3 weeks ago, one of my vacant stagings was of a super cute 1950's updated home in a trendy area of Smyrna, GA close to the Vinings area. It was on the market for a couple of weeks prior to contacting Peachtree Home Staging. As it was explained to me, instead of posting photos of the vacant property at the time of listing, they choose to publish some older photos they had from the previous renters living in the home. Prior to hiring Peachtree Home Staging to

stager: This Condo is One Step Ahead! - 10/28/08 04:44 PM
Peachtree Home Staging recently provided home staging services, furnishings, and accessories for a vacant condo located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. Buckhead is conveniently located near Midtown and Downtown Atlanta. The owner of the condo lives out of town and had to trust we'd get the job done right. We finished up and sent photos last week and the owner paid a personal visit to the property this past weekend. Here is the e-mail we received back: "Karen, We love the results. The condo looks so warm and welcoming. Wish I could move in." Thanks, Susan Well, regardles of the market, particullarly with

stager: Got the Touch? - 04/16/08 01:49 PM
The process of engaging in professional Home Staging for your occupied home and the process of engaging in a professional massage for your aches and pains have some similarities. Some people just melt into a ball of butter at the very thought of relaxing in the soothing expertise that pours from the hands of the trained massage therapist. Others, well, not so much. They tighten up just at the thought of a strangers hands kneading and knuckling their muscles under bare exposure! A home seller inviting a professional home stager into their domain reacts in two different ways as well. Most are excited about their

stager: Stagers Make The World Go Around - 01/31/08 08:02 PM
I've been digging and surfing, churning and searching . . . I've been looking for something that I knew would express the absolute success and spirit of the Stage It Forward Round Tables in Atlanta this past month. And at the same time express my gratitude to Kathy Nielsen for being my trusted partner in facilitating the event (I actually have been suffering from Kathy withdrawals since the event on the 17th). And something worthy of our appreciation to IKEA for hosting our event. And lastly something to express our appreciation to Gina McNew for airing a summary of the event on her radio show. I knew with

stager: Atlanta Home Stager takes the WHY out of Home Staging! - 06/24/07 01:02 PM
Benefits of Having Your Home Staged Before a showing -- A staged home will generate multiple showings when properly photographed and displayed on the Internet. As many as 80% of potential buyers begin their search online and identify homes they would like their real estate agent to show them.During the showing -- A staged home will show better than other listed homes. It provides the buyer a clear vision of the home's functionality. It's "move-in ready," and has no distractions. After the showing - A staged home is remembered! Viewing home after home becomes tedious and exhausting for buyers. Often, buyers have time

stager: Take Down the Red Flag on Home Staging! - 06/21/07 02:14 PM
What does it really cost to stage a home, or not? Karen Dembsky of Peachtree Home Staging separates myth from reality. Atlanta, Ga. June 21, 2007 - Many think the cost of staging a home is not worth it. Or, they think that home staging is only for the rich, with big fancy houses. Realtors® and home sellers, who could most benefit from home staging, don't always understand that the small cost can pay dividends in effectiveness. Home staging is the art of decorating a home to appeal to the most potential buyers. A professional home stager will bring out the house's

stager: I like analogies - 06/12/07 09:12 AM
Today I am thinking of all the things I like, and I like analogies. Here's one I have on my Web site: http://www.peachtreehomestaging.com/whatishomestaging.htm "Remember, you are selling a HOUSE, a property; space. Disassociate yourself. When you buy a computer, you buy a shell that has the space to hold the items you want and need, software that makes it functional, and tutorials that demonstrate how it is best used. That is what Home Staging does for a house! A potential home buyer is shopping for a house; functional space that they can make their home. That's what they need to see."

stager: Home Staging: Facts Tell; Stories Sell - 06/12/07 08:24 AM
Karen Dembsky of Peachtree Home Staging brings national statistics to life with real stories from her clients' experiences. Atlanta, Georgia June 11, 2007 -- Home staging is hot, and getting hotter around the country. Much like the saying, "facts tell; stories sell", Realtors® and home sellers are beginning to see how home staging can mean real dollars, beefed-up reputations for agents and less stress for sellers. Some of the national statistics about home staging dovetail nicely with stories from Karen Dembsky's experiences as a Realtor®. Home staging is the art of decorating a home to appeal to the most potential buyers.
