Over the past 32 years as a full time real estate broker I've had that question asked more times by inbound clients than I care to count.
Fortunately, it is a very easily answered question.  There are good schools throughout Northern Virginia.
That is as far as I am qualified or willing to go on the subject.  Unlike many real estate agents I recognize that one family's perception of a "good school" may not be another family's perception of a "good school".  Additionally, special needs frequently enter the equation of what a child needs as an integral part of their … (1 comments)

The majority of purchasers consider price, location, condition, features, transportation, shopping and recreation when deciding which home to purchase.  Not all purchasers are concerned about school quality, but they should be!!!!
The fact that you do not have children or do not plan to have children is not a consideration.  School quality is a major feature to many purchasers and will impact on one's ability to resell the home.  It should be in the "mix" of items to be considered by ALL PURCHASERS.
The question then becomes, "Where do I find the information?"
