Gunston Manor is unlike any other Northern Virginia waterfront community. It was developed in 1929 as a weekend camping retreat. There are no sidewalks. sewers, very limited homeowner's association rules and a blend of newand then and old homes. You'll see cottages with no more than 1,000 square feet of living space overlooking the Potomac River.
Gunston Manor has been home to some families for three or four generations. Why? They can kayak, fish, hike and water ski without ever leaving home. Due to its' proximity to the Mason Neck Wildlife Refuge you live with a wide variety of birds and animals
