The tax credits and qualifying dates are becoming confusing! I thought it would be a good idea to write an article simplifying the matter for homebuyers who are in the market to buy a home and trying to take advantage of any and all possible tax credits.
The $8,000 Federal Homebuyer Tax Credit deadline is rapidly approaching.  To qualify for this tax credit, a homebuyer must be in a ratified contract by April 30, 2010 and the transaction must close by June 30, 2010.  First time homebuyers can qualify up to the full $8,000.  A first time homebuyer is defined as a homebuyer … (0 comments)
