Surety bonds...WOW, what a steal, or stealing. - 05/27/10 11:26 PM
Surety bonds...WOW, what a steal, or stealing. Surety bonds...WOW, what a steal. (Cost is twice as much as is owed...but this deal is crazy)! Geeze, you could get a better deal if you were a criminal!!! I have a customer who ended up having charges posted by his condo association amounting to $16,000.00. - yup, no kidding on a $70K property...Can't go into alot of details, however... My point is - If a condo owner (paid cash) is trying to sell his/her property and the association doesn't cash their checks for the association dues (for several months)...then takes them to court and charges them (3 comments)
VITAS or Hospice care is a fantastic salvation for families. - 05/27/10 10:18 PM
VITAS or Hospice care is a fantastic salvation for families. Whenever you are in need of special care, the nurses and aides that help those people that need end of life care are fantastic. They help you through the entire process of losing a loved one. They have any type of assistance you need when you are losing a loved one... I experienced that today with a very good friend. I was so happy that they were there, could answer questions. They are professionals and provide comfort for family and friends. Thank you VITAS/Hospice for being there for those in need...what (4 comments)
Twitter, Facebook, etc. doesn't work for the over 50 crowd-for the most part! - 05/13/10 10:42 PM
Twitter, Facebook, etc. doesn't work for the over 50 crowd-for the most part! OK, how many of you are involved in these new technological situations? The only reason I am is b/c my children almost mandated it! When our 50's crowd was growing up, or at 6 years old...we had 2 party phone lines...we played outside, and it was safe in our neighborhood. In high school, we had a single line, and we drove our parents nuts by being on the phone all night...after all if Mom wanted to talk to her friends, she could do that all day while we (11 comments)
Are you staying positive in this market? I don't see much of it here. - 05/13/10 10:26 PM
Are you staying positive in this market? I don't see much of it here. Geeze people, all I am reading here is doom and gloom. If you feel you have to write about this, then you are not going to do well. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE EXUDES....when you project that to your customers! If you are down about the market and you express that to your customers...you lose! The agents who are still selling in this market are the ones who have a positive attitude. Have solutions to what you want as a buyer. If you have a negative agent, get (3 comments)
Condo Association's - are they for real? Condo Association's - are they for real?Condo Association's - are they for real? My most recent deals have been at the control of the condo associations...What a NIGHTMARE!!! A deal is a deal...most of the time you have to give them 3-4 weeks for approval, but what happens if it takes 6 weeks or more? The seller's are irritated, the seller's agent is [being a nightmare] apparently in need of funds b/c she is being nasty.... So, I'm reasonable. I understand that sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances that occur which do not involve (0 comments)
Mrs. Reality here, When does the Real Estate transaction stop? I'm a full service agent! - 05/13/10 09:59 PM
Mrs. Reality here, When does the Real Estate transaction stop? I'm a full service agent! Mrs. Reality here, When does the Real Estate transaction stop? I know what you are all going to say...at the closing table...HOWEVER. What has been an amazing addition to my sale is having a contractor, a floor contractor, a ceiling rep. ( down in Florida it is a new thing called a "stretch ceiling" from France...that has become the newest hotest item here if you are direct ocean.) I now have afforded my customers a licensed contractor, a fantastic floor guy, "Floors to Go" - Phil (0 comments)
The rationale of Real Estate. - 05/02/10 10:14 PM
The rationale of Real Estate. Pretty simple, people need a home, a hostel, or an apartment. A place to provide protection and a place to keep a family safe. In recent times, people are losing their jobs, they are looking anywhere to provide a safe place for their families to reside. That being said, with job losses at an all time high and people losing their homesteads, people are getting very desperate. Many families are living together with not enough room. Children are sleeping on the floors next to their parents in sleeping bags. Just happy to have a roof above (0 comments)
