family: I love peanut butter, but rat's in the vat, and salmonella poisoning...can you trust anyone? - 02/08/09 12:27 AM
I love peanut butter, but rat's in the vat, and salmonella poisoning...can you trust anyone? WHERE IS THE FDA? You can be assured if one of their family members would have been affected by this poisoning, things would be handled differently. Where is the Quality Control? For that matter, who is responsible for the quality control? How discusting were the pictures of the dead rats (not mice, rats) that were shown on FOX news tonight on the Geraldo. I do not thing that most people realize how many foods contain peanuts, peanut butter, etc. Even dog food. Chewy bars, cookies,

family: 'Sup...in your market? Yep that's what I'm saying...wa'sup? - 11/13/08 11:26 PM
'Sup...in your market? Yep that's what I'm saying...wa'sup? Those of you my friends that read an comment on here. I love you guys...that being said...I'm just a little curious...what's happening in your town? With the new President-elect Obama, with the topsy-turvy stock market, the impending recession. How is the mood in your home town? What is the chatter? What are people talking about? Are they as scared as the rest of the individuals in the US? What are their concerns? Do they have a place to live? Are more and more people in your home town moving in with family? How

family: Caylee Anthony...what is the truth? - 09/28/08 10:12 PM
Caylee Anthony...what is the truth? Really this poor child. I hope she is still alive, however my maternal instincts say her mother did away with her. It makes me sick. There are so many people who want children, who would adopt children even at the age of 2-3 yrs old and would love and cherish the fact that they have a child. So many married couples cannot have children due to either the wife who has fertility issues or the husband who may have a low sperm count! What ever the reason...is it fair? In Florida, in fact just a few

family: Tim Russert, the King of "Meet the Press," dies at 58 at work. - 06/13/08 07:13 PM
We have watched Tim Russert since 1991 on "Meet the Press". He was a Sunday morning given for those who love the news. Tim was very direct, fair, and you never knew what question he was going to fire at you next. This knowledgable reporter, legendary to say the least, will be sorely missed. He is survived by, "Big Russ" his father, his wife, and his son who just graduated from college. A class act, Tim has been involved in the Political reporting arena since I can remember. This is earily as horrific as when David Bloom passed away reporting

family: The gift of life...would you consider giving your organs??? - 05/28/08 07:43 PM
As a survivor of cancer. I have many friends who need organs in order to live. I have patients who need kidney transplants (there are over 50K people in need), and there are people who need partial liver transplants, partial lung transplants, heart transplant's ( from individual's who have been in unfortunate car accident's), etc. What does your license say? Would you consider giving your healthy organ's if you were in an accident? You have to be healthy, without disease, without cancer. Have you talked to your family, friends and children about giving someone else the chance of life, if in

family: It's Memorial Day Weekend. Please pray for our troops... - 05/23/08 10:40 PM
Please say a prayer for those troop's who are serving to protect our country this weekend. As, many times, we just have parties and it's a day off. Please, remember the men and women who are working abroad and are there without their spouses and children. Please pray for them, say a prayer for them and remember, they are giving up their time with their children to protect our country! Their children are suffering, to save our lives, while their father's are situate in a situation to protect us all. How do you all feel, WHO HAVE SON'S AND DAUGHTER'S FIGHTING

family: My attitude!!!Yep, that's right, it's mine...feel free to join in!!! - 12/27/07 09:11 PM
We are here today. We have enjoyed our families over the Holiday Season. We hope everyone is healthy, wealthy and wise. We hope there are no secrets. We hope we know that everyone in our immediate families are in good health and if they are not, that they would trust us enough to share their worries and concerns with us. Some might think, well, I'll wait until the Holidays are over. Can you read the writing on the wall, can you read your families feelings, can you read your close friends feelings? Tough thought...give it a few minutes....look back into the eyes of

family: What do the Holiday's mean to you? - 12/12/07 07:43 PM
What do you do during the Holidays? Is it about gifting, is it about family and friends, or is it about celebrating your faith? Do the presents mean anything, or is it just it tradition? What is your tradition? What is something special that your family does during the Holidays? Is it important to spend money on gifts, or is it more important for family gatherings? I love to see my family, presents do not matter to me...I am just happy to have them to hug and hold... Gift's are nice, but do we really need them...I don't want presents, I want QUALITY TIME with my family... HOW DO

family: Love, family, new friends on AR. Success in 2008...Karma, my friends, karma...think positive....I do! - 12/10/07 11:27 PM
I have read about so many families who have relatives with health issues during this Holiday Season. It doesn't matter how many kind words that we say, the pain of the situation is still there. We can offer comment, send virtual hugs, pray...it still doesn't ease all the pain. There are a few friends on here who had been having some health issues that have posted here on AR, that haven't been active...to you my new friends...I hope you are well, if not...here's my Karma...have a Great Christmas, find the strength I'm sending you and enjoy...I hope I'm drained by the end

family: Feelings... - 12/05/07 09:32 PM
I have read a few blogs tonight about our fellow real estate agents who are in need of prayers. I don't want to call them out, but my point here is...There is a great family here. For fellow agents to pour out their souls to us, (maybe the only family they may have) is awesome...awesome in the fact that there is trust. They are so down, they may not have a private family, but they hope they have US! AND THEY DO! United we can help our co-workers with support, not sympathy - I say that because they don't want that. They

family: Here today, gone tomorrow. - 12/04/07 10:14 PM
Homeowners, who are in distress, have many issues. They are mainly monetary, but then it becomes emotional. These people may have been comfortable in their homes for a long, long time...but the increases in taxes and insurance are not paralleled to their 2-3% increases in salary. They want to "save their homes", they are embarrassed that they cannot "stay in their homes", they may have both husband and wife working two jobs to try and keep their coveted homes. I have met so many people, who are so distraught over the high prices of insurance and the phenomenal taxes...the are ashamed. They cower, tears

family: I, for one, hold my friends close, my ENEMIES CLOSER... - 12/04/07 09:44 PM
Those coveted words are said in almost every marriage ceremony. Is that all they pertain to? I think NOT! It's related to family, acquaintances, doctors, friends in general. Does their title matter, No. The world is a tough entity. We are here for a reason. G*d has a plan for us from the day we are born. A pattern of behaviour, a task for us, a solution to a problem, a friend to comfort, a patient to cure! I, for one, hold my friends close, my ENEMIES CLOSER... Sad to say, but that saves you in the long term. Knowing what someone might do to hurt you or

family: Holidayzzz.... - 11/29/07 10:59 PM
You know after Thanksgiving that the big two Holidays are here. After all it's that time of year. It's time for visits with family and friends that we haven't seen for awhile. It's a time to reflect. Have you told your parents that you loved them lately? Have you told your spouse or significant other that you loved them? Have you told your children how much you love them? Sometimes we forget to tell the ones we Love that we do...sometimes we're in work overdrive. Is it about the gifts? I don't think so, I think it's about family, friends and relationships with co-workers, it's about your

family: Life is great... - 11/22/07 07:14 PM
Life is so wonderful! We are fortunate to wake up every morning rain or shine! All of us are here for a reason (my opinion)(the way I have been taught anyway). Today, I was fortunate to have a fabulous Thanksgiving Day with the people who are my friends that no longer have families (maybe never had children, maybe have lost a spouse). We invited all of them. They didn't have to bring anything...just come and have a good time. We'll we did...We had a fabulous time. We each took turns reminiscing of what Thanksgiving was for us in the past, the people

family: My daughter's memory for the loss of a friend...tough love...live and love every day! You never know... - 11/17/07 09:36 PM
As the Holidays are near, we need to take advantage of the Holiday's to appreciate our families and friends. It is so easy not to appreciate the advice of family members, the advice of friends (whatever the issue)... How many times do we take our friends for names sake...how many times do you ...just assume they are always there and will listen to you tirades...??? What do you do when those friends are gone??? My daughter called me yesterday and reminded me that her best friend died 4 years ago Nov. 14, 2003. He was with his girlfriend - a twin, they were going to

family: REFLECTIONS...during a Holiday season, a poem... - 11/17/07 08:15 PM
Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go... The car know's the way, to get to the day, where our family will be sure to go! Over the river and through the sand, to Grandmother's house we go... The car know's the way, to get to the day, where the beach and the sand we know! Over the river and through the land, Oh now we all must go. The family and friends, For life 'til it ends, Forever we all should know... Over the river and through life as it is, to who's ever house we go, The car know's the way, to get us the way, For life is short we know. Over the

family: Thanksgiving Day....let's be thankful for family and friends...and enjoy the day! - 11/16/07 11:27 PM
Thanksgiving is upon us. Many of us cannot believe it is next Thursday. Often times, time just slips by... We are working, some of you are so busy with children that time just seems to slip by...oh so slowly. Makes one think that we should slow down, enjoy our families and spend a little quality time. As I have recently learned with my Fathers recent illness. Life is short. Time flies by so slowly, not any more. We all feel like fate will never be a concern, that our families will always be there for us, that we will be together forever. Well,
