How many real estate agents are left in this market? Seriously...how many agents who were licensed agents still hold a license in their state and have hung out throught this current debacle?
According to statistics in Florida, we've lost almost more than half of the agents in the last 3 years, then again...there were 60 in the new Gold Coast class.
Why does this matter?
Do you want an experienced agent?
Do you want a "so called" experienced "short sale agent" because they took a class or do you want a seasoned agent who understands your situation.

Everyone is looking for a "deal" in South Florida...well....here's the news.
According to Trulia.com, Broward county real estate has gone up 6% since last month.
We have sold many of the foreclosures and REO's here, only to get info from our broker today to expect the banks to release yet another batch that the banks were holding onto, waiting for the governments decision on how to allocate more money to banks.
Most people who are looking to buy in south Florida expect to get a "direct ocean" view for pennies on the dollar. That is not the situation here east of … (4 comments)

My broker offer's monthly courses in writing correct contract's.
If you are a new agent...you still have to deal with seasoned agent's, who know how to write a good and legal contract.
If you don't know how to write one correctly and you work in Fort Lauderdale...call me...we have monthly training and I am looking for some agent's to assist me with my customers.

What is selling in South Florida are home's and condo's between $200 and $350 thousand dollars...
Some are new home buyer's, some are people just looking for winter homes. Fortunately, the snow birds are here right now and there are active buyers. These people are friendly, looking for family or friends and are looking for a great deal. There are plenty of fabulous deals right now...with situations...
I mean, I have shown many properties on the Intracoastal, inexpensive, need updating. I mean to say, they still have the shag carpeting from the early 1970's...with rake included...space...1600 sq. ft.
