But this offer is contingent on the sale of our home? Really? NOTE: This is a buyer from another state, so I have no idea if it is or not.
So my next question is: "Would you mind if I talk to your agent?" Answer, "Why?"
Why? So then I went on to explain that if his/her current home was not priced to sell or if it was an unrealistic price that it would be difficult for me to convince the listing agent here, that their current home would sell quickly.
