That is what I heard from a homeowner when I was very new to the market. Eventhough unseasoned, I had enough brains to know that selling a house usually can't provide for one's lack of planning for the future, and a new residence, unless one was moving to Indiana to live. The house was listed at $100.000 over what it should, I tried to get the price down, and of course lost the listing. That wasn't the only one! We all have a story or two like this, but  sellers notoriously don't listen. Does anybody out there have some strategies that work for you? Please let me know.
