In the evenings you can see the lights from the night skiing at Mt High from this point of view.
 

We have amazing sunsets. 
 

 
More beautiful views of the mountains that surround our valley.

We still have wide open spaces.

 
When you need an ocean view, it's only 2 hours away.

This week's stats were out of the ordinary.
Just an observation, there were 3 houses sold under 90% of asking price.
In a market where many people are going over asking it was just unusual.
 
 
As of  1/15/10
There are 280 active houses for sale.
70 homes are contingent
175 went pending this week.
All of those numbers are up from last week.
 
Down from last week is......

YES! There is new construction in Apple Valley, CA.
There are several new luxury homes and town homes being built.
The first home is above Tao.
The second is close to competition on Manahka Road
The third is on Apple Valley Road.
They are all north of Hwy 18.
New construction is one of the signs of an economy in recovery.

The low priced house was $61,101.
13 sold over asking price, 4 sold at asking.
20 were bank owned, 3 short sales.
