website: Looking for good websites to market real estate listings - 06/25/08 10:27 PM
Hi everyone, I am currently in seek of additional websites to market my Saskatoon real estate listings that I am currently carrying. The Saskatoon real estate market is one of the hottest markets in Canada and North America. As a result we have seen a large number of investors approach us from all of Canada and the world. I want to find some additional sites to start marketing some of the properties I am working with to gain maximum exposure. My current Saskatoon real estate website has listing information I would like for these sites to link back for more in (9 comments)
website: How Fast Can Your Website Drop In Rankings? - 04/25/08 04:40 PM
The Saskatoon real estate market has been extremely so far in 2008 and unfortunately it has left me with little time to continue to blog and put effort into my website. Today I checked my google rankings and was sad to see that my ranking had dropped about 6 spots. Is this common for people to drop this much? The last time I checked was about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately during that time I haven't had free time to spend updating my website which I know that I must do moving forward. I am finding the time I spent early on (24 comments)
website: Any success with dmoz.org? - 02/19/08 09:23 PM
I was curious if anyone out there has had any recent success having their website included in dmoz.org lately? I submitted my Saskatoon Real Estate website in November and still have not seen it added or heard anything back. I know from most posts I have read you will never recieve a notification your website has been added but just will see it appear one day. I also have heard that it can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months or for some it has been over a year. I took the proactive approached and applied to become (18 comments)
website: Website Success - 01/21/08 06:15 PM
If you were to read back in my blog you would see that I launched my website on November 1, 2007. Since that date I have been spending a set amount of time each week working on my website as well as doing other SEO techniques that I have read and learnt about. As I don't have a lot of time I needed to focus my efforts and maximize the small amount of time I could put towards it. I am very happy to say that after only 2 and a half months I am starting to see huge gains from (7 comments)
website: Benefits of Social Networking Sights? - 11/30/07 09:49 AM
Hi, I am relatively new to online marketing and have heard huge raves about social networking sights becoming the next big thing on the internet. I know quite a bit about facebook and myspace but am curious how people are leveraging these sites to market themselves outside their group of already established contacts? I am always interested in learning new ways of marketing that exposes new opportunities to gain more clientele. I am curious what successes other people may have had and any recommendations people can make.Kari CalderSaskatoon Real Estate AgentCentury 21 Conexus Realtywww.karicalder.com (0 comments)
website: Are Pay Directories Worth While? - 11/29/07 04:49 PM
Again similiar to my last post... I have been on a search to find good locations to post my site for the links back to it. I constantly stumble across pay sites that say they will list your website on 20 PR 5 or higher websites, etc for $19.95 or whatever the deal is on that site. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with some of these large directories and what their thoughts are on them? Is it worth the money to spend having your site listed on some of these? If so what are the best ones (7 comments)
website: Free Links? - 11/29/07 04:44 PM
Like most people out there I am spending a lot of time and energy to try and get my website ranking a bit higher. I am relatively to SEO work but know the importance of links, unique content, etc. I've been reading as much as I can about back links. I want to try and stay away from recriprocal links which seems are the easiest and most available out there. I am curious to see if other people have found some good websites to list their websites that don't require recriprical links and are also indexed by google, etc. If anyone (8 comments)
website: Google Indexing - How Long Does It Take? - 11/29/07 04:38 PM
In an earlier post I announced that I just recently launched my website. I am very happy to have it out on the net. Now comes the waiting game though... and needless to say I am not always the most patient person :)Google has already started indexing my website but it appears that it just does chunks of it at a time. What is the longest amount of time anyone has experieced to have their full website indexed and started seeing results? I've read so many different opinions on this... it could range from a week to 6 months it seems. (9 comments)
website: Real Estate Directories - Good or Bad? - 11/01/07 03:00 PM
I've been trying to do some research but haven't found any conclusive evidence yet if online "real estate directories" are worth paying for to have your website listed in them. There are literally hundreds of sites out there all with different costs associated with them as well as pr rankings, etc. I've seen lots that you can sign up for and do a reciprocal link exchange with but I want to limit the number of these I do. What are your thoughts about the value someone would get by paying to have your website listed in an online directory? Thanks and I (0 comments)
website: Website Posted! - 11/01/07 02:51 PM
I am very happy to say that after many late nights and hard work my website is finally online. I believe a website is extremely important in todays market especially for someone who is new to the game such as myself. I am relatively new to website design/marketing and know from what I read it is something that you must stay on top of. I am determined to learn as much as I can about web marketing and use this to my advantage. I would appreciate any feedback people would like to give on the site as I will always look (4 comments)
