mortgage merge account: MMA real or a confidence game? - 04/20/09 11:59 PM
I've always been impressed how certain people can get away at times with elaborate flim flams. The recent arrest of Bernie Maddof is one such demonstration of this type of fraud and those who are duped. Normally it requires a mark, or victim, who is manipulated by their greed, honesty or compassion. Often these schemes are elaborate and can be perpetuated by the innocent and masterminded by those thinking they are providing others some type of better existence. Meanwhile capitalizing in the beginning with massive profits, which later leave their unknowing victims in bankruptcy or foreclosure. This scenario is relevant in

mortgage merge account: Mortgage Mania is sweeping the country!!! WHY!??? - 02/25/08 04:49 PM
Here we go again, another rant by Karl about the evils of the mortgage merge account. I guess there wouldn't be the negativity on my end if I actually knew it was working in most cases. I had to chuckle, one such comment was from a gentleman who had paid down his mortgage by 20k in about 8 or 9 years with a bi-monthly payment, but this new MMA was better then sliced bread, it was keeping him focused on finances. Wait a second, didn't he just tell me he had payed off 20k extra in less then 9 years with

mortgage merge account: UFF agents....look what you made me do......shouldn't have pushed me.... - 02/08/08 02:07 AM
Those whom read my blog know that I'm not the biggest fan of the Mortgage Merge Account, or what some like to call the Australian Mortgage Acceleration system. For the last few years I've had wholesale rep's from CMG wholesale and MacQuarie bank explain how some Europeans and Australians manage their mortgages. But stupid me, I didn't check into these claims and assumed that it was a fact. After all we don't live in Australia, and for all I know these are legitimate company's, so why would they be telling me a tall tail. Now comes United First Financial, Sydney Financial and

mortgage merge account: Mortgage Merge Account...is it worth $3500!! - 01/28/08 10:12 PM
I've written a number of articles on the mortgage merge account, or mortgage checking account and there are new names for this technique being created by new MLM's every day. It's one of the fastest growing undercurrents in America. The big question, is it really worth the money your friends are claiming its worth. I don't want this to be a negative article on why these accounts are dangerous and in the wrong hands could be lethal. But this article in regards to those whom will proceed anyway with this program. The question you may want to consider is what are you

mortgage merge account: Mortgage Merge Accounts...Are they safe for consumers - 01/21/08 05:25 PM
I've been flamed by a number of well meaning United First Financial agents already, and I'm sure this post will generate another group of hate emails. But let's be honest folks, the long term affects of this new program are still far from being complete. The honest agent is going to point out that the program hasn't been in effect more then three years. Sure they've had a number of fantastic success stories, but the story's they never tell anyone about are now coming out of the wood-work. I've been in the industry for over 10 years. I remember not long ago

mortgage merge account: Mortgage Merge Mania...is it the right program for you!! - 07/27/07 10:06 PM
Mortgage Merge Account discussion time again everyone. Yes, it sounds like the best thing to hit the market since sliced bread! Imagine paying off your home in 5-8 years without changing your current lifestyle at all!!! Or that's how it's pitched by some of the more unscrupulous MMA hucksters. What is the mortgage merge account, well that term is actually used by one of the largest players currently in this new industry. United First Financial has coined it's HELOC program ( Home Equity Line of Credit) the Mortgage Merge Account or MMA. The concept was not invented by this company nor was
