Buying Foreclosures to Create Affordable Housing in New Jersey - 02/29/12 06:06 AM
New Jersey is the fourth most expensive state in the nation in terms of the housing wage. This despite the fact that the New Jersey Affordability Index is at it's best mark in over a decade, but "Housing Wage" is about rentals, not purchasing a home.

Ocean County Preserves More Land - 02/06/12 07:25 PM
A sand and gravel mine and surrounding woods just east of the military runways at Lakehurst will be preserved in a joint $7.5 million effort by the Department of Defense, Ocean County and the state Pinelands Commission.
Ocean County will buy outright 387 acres on the Ralph Clayton and Sons property on Route 547 in Jackson near the Manchester boundary, with another 1,415 acres preserved with a conservation easement.

Richard Stockton College is extending into Stafford Township.
College officials confirmed Friday that they have a letter of intent and are finalizing a lease with Manahawkin Plaza Associates for classroom space at 712 East Bay Ave. in the Manahawkin section of the Stafford Township.
Plans call for a 10-year lease starting with 3,400 square feet of space with an option to add an additional 5,000 square feet.
