the kim group: What would it take for you to move to downtown Peoria? - 06/28/10 01:42 PM
With a lot of incentives being put in place for developers to start developing out the Peoria river front, I am constantly being asked "What do you think it will take for people to move downtown?"  I know my answer, but I would LOVE to hear yours!
Be completely honest!
Thank you in advance for your time!

the kim group: 2010 US Census Cautions to avoid Fraud and Identity Theft - 09/09/09 02:27 AM
With the US Census process beginning, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) advises people to be cooperative, but cautious, so as not to become a victim of fraud or identity theft. The first phase of the 2010 US Census is under way as workers have begun verifying the addresses of households across the country.
Eventually more than 140,000 US Census workers will count every person in the United States and will gather information about every person living at each address including name, age, gender, race, and other relevant data. The big question is - how do you tell the different between a … (0 comments)

the kim group: How do you motivate yourself? - 07/02/09 02:19 AM
I am an upbeat person. I alway try and see the positive outcome in a situation or how to make the best of a situation.  I have realized that not everyone has this trait. Some people alway see the negative, alway complain about this or that instead of seeing the opportunity within the situation.

A good friend once told me there are two types of investors. Those that trust what people are telling them and make decisions off their knowledge and advice, and those that learn about what they are investing in and do the research themselves. I have found that while most people start out as the first type of investor. The serious investors usually are a mix of the two types. They have trusted advisors, yet they also do some of their own research.
So I thought I would post some interesting information for you to view. The Housing Supply Outlook from … (0 comments)

the kim group: What happens to the Big Box Stores/Buildings? - 02/04/09 11:53 AM
In reading an article from Trafic Court I realize there is an opportunity that many are not taking advantage of in this market.  Some of the "big box" retailers in our market have closed down their location and how there is a big empty space to fill and given the current condition of the market, most of them are still empty.  We as real estate professionals are asking ourselves how can we fill those spaces?  who would fit best in that location?  Well...
What Julia Christensen found in a recent research assignment was that many big box spaces especially the old … (0 comments)
