INVESTORS NEWS FLASH

As 2008 begins and the real estate market has been a "buyers" market. This is a perfect time for those who have always wanted to own an investment property and rent it out. In Solano and Napa counties, the rental market has been tremendously active. For one, those homeowners, who have unfortunately lost their homes due to recent subprime loan fiasco, are forced out of home ownership and have become strong renter candidates. In my office, our property management has access to many of these potential tenants who are looking for a good home to rent. If you have an interest and want to see if this is the right opportunity for you to own an investment property, call me at 707-567-1049 or email me at mailto:kasamalee@yahoo.com?subject=Rental%20Property%20Inquiry

Here are a few examples of single family home properties in the local areas. Call me for more current listings on the market.

Home In Vallejo

Home In American Canyon

Another Home In American Canyon

May 2008 be the year of peace, health and prosperity for you.

Kasama A.
My Loan Is Due to Adjust...I Won't Be Able to Afford My Mortgage..What Do I Do?

If you're in a situation where your loan rate is adjusting to an incredible amount where you won't be able to afford your mortgage. Here are a few things I would suggest:

1) Contact your lender directly (the 800 number that's on your monthly mortgage statements) and explain to them your hardship. Tell them what is about to happen if they don't help. I've heard of many lenders now who are willing to work with you and may extend your current loan rate by a certain amount of time.

2) Contact your mortgage broker, this would be the person who got you this loan that you have, ask if they could refinance and get you out of this loan.

3) If all else fails, contact your local REALTOR, not necessarily to sell your house. An ethical REALTOR with a good reputation could help by referring you to possibly a good lender who would do their best to help you get out of your situation. Sometimes, this works depending on your current mortage situation.

Be Strong! It may seem like the world is ending. You will get through this!

Best wishes,

Kasama A. Lee, REALTOR
