Well, finally, after 8 years in the business I achieved the CRS designation. I'm a big fan of education. I enjoy taking classes. When I first started out in real estate I had yearly goals as to the designation and certifications I would go after and how long it would take me to do it based on the designation requirements but also my CE requirements. I started out getting the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and then followed that with the e-Pro, then I got my Broker's license, ABR, SFR, SRS & now the CRS.
I know that these designations don't mean a whole lot to buyers and sellers, but they are an accomplishment to me. I tend to need and appreciate verifiable and quantifiable achievements and these designations do that for me.
So, hooray for me!
