Nothing, and I mean nothing, turns me off more than someone bragging and boasting: About themselves. Their Kids (okay, I can accept kid/grandbaby bragging). Their Place of Employment...ANYTHING.
There are subtle ways of sharing with a person or friend how one feels about something without getting all gooey andsticky-sweet and me-me-me-ish.  I love hearing people tell me how they feel about current events, what's going on at home, and the place they work. I love hearing/knowing how happy and excited they are.

You can see that from 2009 to 2010, prices in "Arrowhead Woods" went up, though they did stay on the market a tad longer than in 2009.
Lake front sold prices, on the other hand, went down in 2010.
