Highway 330 to Running Springs and Big Bear is OPEN FOR BUSINESS - 06/17/11 05:12 PM

Highway 330 is opening today at 4:00PM! Yea, I say!  
There are several ways to wind your way up to Lake Arrowhead and other mountain communities, but Highways 18 & 330 are probably the most traveled.                                              
As you know, after a major rainfall last December, a large part of Highway 330 caved in...just became a sink hole.  Thankfully no one was hurt, but boy has this road closure caused the businesses in Running Springs and Big Bear to suffer.

An old post worth re-sharing. 
When driving up Highway 18, into the San Bernardino Mountains, do you ever think about how this road was constructed? The fact is, it was NO EASY task for our ancestors who "paved" the way for us. Bless them!!! And no, they didn't design and build it so they could cruise on up to Lake Arrowhead, or our surrounding towns, to enjoy the beauty here, frolic in the snow, rent a cabin for a weekend get-a-way or to ski. They built this road out of necessity.

Going To The Home Inspection is Something I Do.
Yesterday I went to a home inspection. I almost always go if I can. I feel it's part of my job when representing a client. And I recommend that my buyers attend if at all possible, which most of the time they can, and do. And while at the inspection, I do my own Agent Visual Inspection. Always multi-tasking.
For me, it's better that I go to the inspection and hear what that the professional has to say, verses just reading about it on a written (or emailed) report. This way I … (1 comments)

Sally is right on the money with this post! I have gained many clients because of Realtors who do NOT answer their phone. Also to the ones who "TALK TOO MUCH! which means they are not listening.  I THANK all of those Realtors for helping my business grow. :-)
