CAMPING, HIKING, FISHING, PICNICING...OH MY!
There are so many things to do and see in, and around, Lake Arrowhead. And if you're the outdoorsy type, then you'll want to stop in at the San Bernardino Ranger Station/Lake Arrowhead to plan some of your outdoor events: hiking or camping or picnicking. At the ranger station you can buy your ADVENTURE PASS (you must have one), get maps of trails and campgrounds. Always let the ranger station folks know when you're heading out on a hike.

THE MOUNTAIN TOP HIKING CLUB is an organized group of people whose purpose is to hike local and distant trails, and to provide knowledge of the trails and scenic destinations to those folks who wish to learn the safely aspect of hiking and who want to enjoy the great outdoors.
Members are offered hikes throughout the year all through the mountains
Remember to BRING on your hikes: water, snacks, hat, sunscreen & to purchase your National Forest Adventure Pass.

What's healthier than getting out in the fresh mountain air and taking a "hike?" Not much. And there are so many wonderful places to explore in our local mountains, and other nearby areas, that you could never run out of locations to TAKE A HIKE.
This weekend, MOUNTAIN TOP HIKING CLUB will be meeting for another one of their adventures. See time and meeting spot below. Check out their entire site to find out how to JOIN the club, schedules, requirements and MUCH more. Keep in mind, this is a serious group/club, so read their "survey."

1. ICE CASTLE INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CENTER: At an elevation of 5,400 feet, in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains, we have the Ice Castle International Training Center. Michelle Kwan trained right here! I remember when I first moved to Lake Arrowhead in 1991, seeing Michelle and her family at Lake Arrowhead Village--lake side. Michelle was actually practicing her skating moves. In tennies... I had no idea at that moment who she was or what she would become! The training center is now open for public skating (certain times & days)...

Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. YIPPEE! And I'm sure many people share my enthusiasm. ARE YOU READY to enjoy "THE GREAT OUTDOORS?" Here in the San Bernardino Mountains, we have something for everyone who enjoys outdoor activities: CAMPING, FISHING, HIKING, OFF ROADING & MUCH MORE.
