Due to the serious weather events that happened over Thanksgiving, with snow falling to some 34+ inches, downing trees and power lines and inclement weather arriving on December 7th, the parade has been canceled. The road conditions that remain and the impending weather is not safe.
While The Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce is disappointed and saddened, they must put the safety of all of their residence and patrons first. The parade was originally scheduled for December 7, 2019. The Chamber has released their parade schedule for next year, with the parade being held on December 5, 2020.

Over Thanksgiving we got one heckuva snow storm here in Lake Arrowhead, dumping about an inch of snow an hour. It was absolutely beautiful to watch. The pines all flocked with snow and there seemed to be no beginning or end to driveways and everything snow covered all around us. Snow Valley was literally snowed in as roads were blocked getting to them. Many roads were closed or strictly open to residents and chains were required on all vehicles ( known as R3 conditions) on all mountain roads. Even the though the plows were out, most secondary roads were not accessible.
