Here's the most recent article and LOWE'S UPDATE provided by My Mother Lode website. This is GOOD news for some. BAD for others. Many locals are uncomfortable with a larger company moving into Sonora, CA. They feel it may take business away from the smaller guys, bring more traffic, more people. And, it may very well do all those things.

I thought I'd share a fewof my favorite eateries in, and around, Sonora, in Tuolumne County, California. I LOVE to eat. Now this doesn't make me an expert at restaurants...I just know what I enjoy. FOOD! When you're in the area, check them out.

Fun and casual and the biggest and BEST onion rings and burgers I've ever eaten are at DIAMONDBACK GRILLI in Sonora.    They don't have a website, yet, BUT don't let that stop you. sonora: Do you GET THE POINT/S? - 06/06/07 01:45 AM

I have noticed in the past week, that a person can obtain, literally, thousands of POINTS overnight by submitting photos on Localism--many were not even taken by the submitter. How is this possible? Is it okay? I've searched through "how to's" and photo articles and tips and in Localism but haven't really found the exact answer to this. I submit local photos for consumers to enjoy--isn't that the idea? Not just for points--in fact, I don't think about the POINTS. BUT, if I can GET thousands of POINTS overnight, I want 'em. What is the secret?

sonora: RELOCATING and the local Visitors Center. - 06/04/07 03:01 PM

When buyers are moving to a new area, they need to gather all the information possible: housing market, schools (if they have children) and general stuff: grocery shopping, churches, parks, etc. I LOVE our local visitors center and before I moved here, it was actually the first place I started my online search. I e-mailed them and soon received a "relocation package," that also included flyers from several local Realtors (a GOOD advertising tool). I wrote about this a while back, but thought it was worth repeating after seeing the topic on INMAN this morning. ELECTRONIC signatures are becoming more and more popular. I began using DocuSIGN last year and haven't looked back. Before choosing this company, I checked out many others after Googling GoogleElectronicSigs . Now I don't feel the "Electronic Signature" replaces good-old-fashioned person-to-person contact, but with so many clients out of the area, it is a wonderful tool. Fast and easy! Yesterday, I had floor time, but really wasn't expecting much business since this is Memorial Weekend. I was waiting for a client, however, to show up so I could show her a new listing our office has. While waiting...in comes a nice couple wanting a little local real estate information. As several of us sat in the office today: one working on a listing, another on a hopeful listing and the other playing solitaire, we started discussing what kind of houses we ARE. "Well," I said, right off the bat. "I have an attached two-car garage and my foundation is questionable," I added.

Gosh, I hope this doesn't make me look very silly--BUT I've got to take the chance...what is the difference between CLICKS and VIEWS? Besides the meaning of each word. Under our "Home" page on AR, and then at "Stats," you can see how many COMMENTS, VIEWS or CLICKS you've received from folks who've taken a peek at your post/s. When we CLICK on a post, isn't it to VIEW? Someone tell me I'm not the only one who is in the dark on this one....please

I may have mentioned this before--but not here. Anyway... I had a client call me one morning regarding a listing I had e-mailed him. "Hey, I'd like to see that place." GREAT, I thought.
