Deals are happening and Cash buyers are back - 08/06/10 02:52 PM
Most of my business is done in gated country club communities, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach and for past two years buyers have been few and far between. Since season starting in Nov with interest rates low and prices at record lows for this area a sign of life.
I had the best first quarter in three years all of the buyer were from north east and all four properties were purchased for vacation and future retirement purposes and they all paid cash.
Lets all hope the trend continues

Jonathan's Landing signs of a turn around - 08/06/10 02:34 PM
Jonathan's Landing like many other country clubs have been having difficulty getting new members. Since Oct 2009 they have been advertising lots of different options to encourage new owner to join.  A home owner is not required to become a member Jonathan's Landing mandatory membership has been voted on but never passed. The club also decided to do new trees, shrubs,and flowers from main entrance on Indian town road to the club house. The fitness center is a huge success and busy all the time.
The membership drive was a great success since Oct there are 114 new members all different types.
