I was inspired by a documentary on TV last night that showcased the life of Harlan Ellison, the writer of the original Star Trek series.  His openness is profound - expressed both in anger and wisdom - so I started a little research.  I found this quote:
"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment."

Today is the day set aside by our government to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King.  Each year, when this day is observed, we hear the voice of Dr. King remind us of his dream.  His dream is a worthy topic to discuss, but that is not what I will talk about in this post.  I want to talk about You and Me.
