After reading a few different blogs about ‘specialization’ in your market, I am wondering if this business model is still considered a good choice in today’s economy. When consumers have less money to spend, why would they choose to hire three different people instead of one person who can handle all the details? Businesses are struggling to explore new ways to earn income. I believe in the 'perfect world' that specialization is KEY to being successful as a stand-out in your particular field. Over the past few months, I have noticed several AR Stagers who had taken close-up photos of a feature from their staged work. Very close-up photos. The focus was tight and shot from an artistic angle. What was so interesting about showing one of these photos was that most people, who read the thread, commented on the artistic photograph the most! I think it was Dane Caldwell of Toronto and Kathy Nielson from Atlanta who shined with their artistic touch recently, by focusing on CLOSE-UP PHOTOs. Whenever I have the opportunity to view a Home Stager's site, I must confess...rarely do I read the site text; instead, I immediately look for my favorite page--the Photo Gallery!! I CLICK on the link button and wait. While it is uploading, I watch with eagerness and excitement! What level of creative talent will unfold before my eyes? The anticipation increases... When the Photo Gallery page opens, the viewer wants to be able to see a few example-photos of your staging work. (Befores and Afters). Often times I am disappointed because either there are only finished rooms or stock photos in a person's photo gallery. A professional Home
