The day my son left home was a day filled with mixed emotions. Bittersweet. This was not like leaving for college, when we knew he would be back, and his room remained HIS room. This was the day he left home, and his room for the first time was really empty. What would we do with this room? So many things we could do with this room like make it an office, another guest room, paint the walls a different color, get new furniture, etc., etc., etc.

Prince William County has one of the best systems in place for commuters who ride share. Commuter lots are located throughout the county in the eastern and mid-county areas. Commuters park for free and drivers pick up three or more riders going to designated points in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. The cost is free to the rider and in return the driver gets to use the HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lanes on I95. The commute is much quicker because there is reduced trafiic in the HOV lanes and it's not bumper to bumper.
